Epifanio carves the "horns" of a giraffe with a machete, the master knife of nearly all the greatest carvers. The creature looks on to see what the creator is making him into.

Master woodcarver and animalista Epifanio Fuentes is the son of one of the founders of the animalista movement, together with Isodor Cruz and Jose Hernandez. Epifanio and his wife, the highly talented painter Reyna, are themselves parents to 8 children, many of whom are accomplished artists in their own right, (The eldest of these, Zeny, has his own webpage on our site - please consult our listing).

Epifanio continues to produce beautiful works and as a long time carver, we are honored to display his works in our real and our virtual galleries.
